‘Zeros’ is due to be released May 15th, after a long period of fans eagerly awaiting (and asking for) a second body of work from the young artist. The music was recorded in Nashville, and will be accompanied by a few gig and festival performances that have already been announced.
‘Beautiful Faces’ is accompanied by a glitchy, retro video that the wardrobe team must have adored working on.
Branding itself “a brave new anthem for doomed youth”, the song is a commentary on the experience of youth in modern society. The lyrics describe the overwhelming nature of being surrounded by intimidatingly beautiful or impressive people; the song calls for us to take note of just how damaging social media and comparisons can be.
